It’s 2004 in the suburbs. Creekside Garden Club is celebrating one year of its Yard of the Month program. President and founder Ashley Rose wishes she could take it all back. What started innocently enough, to encourage neighborhood camaraderie and beautiful landscapes, has grown into a cutthroat competition. When one neighbor’s lupines bloom at an unnatural rate, Ashley unearths something sinister in the soil.
